Life groups are a smallish (6–12) group of people from church, or those who want to know more about Christianity, who meet in church members' homes every two weeks to share food, pray, discuss the bible and develop great friendships.
As we are a large Church it gives people a chance to get to know each, enjoy spending time together and increase our knowledge of the Bible and Christianity at the same time. Most groups are a mixture of people at different parts of their journey in being a Christian and we all grow in different ways through prayer, fellowship and knowledge of Jesus. It's always nice to be able to say 'hello' to people at Church that you've met through Life Groups, who otherwise you may not have known at all.
Life groups tend to meet (officially) once a fortnight on a Wednesday evening in different homes around Northampton but unofficially other activities can start from the growing friendships so it's not unusual for Lifegroups to have meals out, bowling evenings and other social activities. We even have some groups celebrating Christmas together.
The fellowship, support and friendship of Life Groups cannot be underestimated and we encourage you to contact us if you would like to be included. We have a number of groups and all you have to do to join is talk to us! We can put you in touch with the small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group. Go along and try it out!
