Welcome to Mount Pleasant, a large and friendly Baptist church, situated in a busy downtown area of Northampton, UK.
The church is blessed with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and places, all united by their desire to discover more of God's love in Jesus and the difference that knowing him makes to our lives. Believe what you Pray!
Our Sunday evening sermon series starting on 24th May focuses on the words of the Lord's Prayer. We say it, but do we believe it? And what might it mean if we not only prayed after the manner that Jesus taught us, but also believed the truths contained within these words? We will be exploring what it means to be a follower of Jesus as these powerful words are allowed to shape what we believe, shape our prayers, and ultimately shape the way we follow Jesus. Join us on this very special journey with the Lord’s Prayer as our guide.
Coffee and Cake
Come and join us for Coffee and Cake at the Open Door Centre on Saturday morning, 4th July! We will be serving FREE coffee and cake between 10 am and 12 noon.
Holiday Club 2009
Every year we hold an activity week for boys and girls aged 4-12 during the summer holidays. Each morning of the club the children are treated to age-appropriate games and activities, and the week is rounded of with a fun evening for the whole family. Find out more about our Holiday Club 2009.
