Open Door Shop Grand Opening

Saturday 24th April 2010 was a special day for all who serve in and visit the Open Door Community Shop. After a period of closure lasting many months the newly remodelled shop was re-opened for business. At midday a large crowd gathered as the Mayor of Northampton Michael Hill cut the ribbon and officially re-opened the shop to the public.

The redevelopment work has included an extension and refurbishment, in order to give extra retail space, and a larger coffee area. There is also more space for customers with their trolleys and buggies. It has a light, bright atmosphere and we hope that our customers will continue to enjoy the benefits of inexpensive goods, refreshments and friendship.
