Welcome to Mount Pleasant

We are delighted that you are visiting our website and hope that it will provide you with a helpful introduction to our church. Since it was first established over 130 years ago Mount Plesant has grown to become one of the larger churches in Northampton and through the years the Bible has been central in shaping its life and ministry. This is something which continues to be vitally important to us today.

We are a large and quite diverse congregation and we have a varied programme of regular activities for all ages. We are particularly committed to reaching out to our local community with the good news of Jesus. We also like to think that Mount Pleasant is a welcoming church and we are especially pleased to have people from different ethnic backgrounds sharing with us.

There's so much more to say but we hope you've read enough to encourage you to read on. Better still, "come along" and share in the life of the church and discover for yourself. Above all our prayer would be that together with you we might discover more of God's love in Jesus and the difference that knowing him makes to our lives.
