An opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith What is the point of life? Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions. We cover topics such as Who is Jesus? What about prayer, reading the Bible? How does God guide us? Can He heal us? Each evening we share a meal together, listen to a short talk, Then after a short tea/coffee break we meet in smaller groups where questions can be asked and experiences shared. Who is Alpha for? Alpha is for everyone. Anyone wanting to investigate Christianity, a new Christian, already a Christian but a bit jaded, needing a 'pick me up?' Puzzled about life, asking 'is there more to life than this?' Angry with God about the state of things – come and share your feelings. Alpha is a forum to ask questions, to talk as well as listen. Our autumn Alpha Course begins at MP on Tuesday 28th September. The town wide Alpha Supper is on Thursday 23rd September at St. Giles Church. Tickets are £5, which includes a curry.
